The interior is well ventilated and keeps cool and breezy. The full sized and single beds are locally crafted and poised to the outside view. We can also add an extra single for families of four. Each cabin has an in-suite bathroom with a hot and cold shower. |
| The private enclosed veranda is spacious and relaxed with hammock and lounge chairs. All four cabins are set within a luscious garden setting with breathtaking vantages of sunset, moonset, and Caribbean Sea. |  |

The gardens at Crescent Moon showcase a variety of tropical perennials interspersed with fruit bearing trees. Our greenhouse is open for exploration and the goats and chickens also welcome a visit. The temperature at Crescent Moon maintains a year round comfort of warm days and cool nights. There is no issue with mosquitoes as the surrounding nature is well balanced, however, we do have netting available on request. |

The library at Crescent Moon is an invaluable source of literature, maps, and Dominican information. We also have a computer available for guests there. There is high speed wireless access in the library as well as the dining room. |
| Our property is located only thirty minutes from the capital yet we are considered one of the most peaceful and remote hotels on island. The few residents of River La Croix are mostly farmers and are very welcoming. The trails within the valley are perfect for reflection, site seeing, and fitness. The area has an impressive bird inventory as we are located in the foothills of the rainforest yet offer many attractive flowers. We are very animal friendly and besides the farm friends we also have dogs, cats, turtles, and a fish pond. |  |
