Whether you choose to rent a jeep or go out with David, our local, onsite, and certified tour guide, you will experience naturally beautiful places, genuinely friendly people, and ultimate opportunities to refresh your spirit.

Crescent Moon Cabins is centrally located so that both the Atlantic and Caribbean Sea are within an hour away. The Boiling Lake trail head is 45 minutes. Our surrounding community includes the Sylvania trail head to Middleham Falls Hike, the Morne Trois Pitons trail, segments 4 and 5 of the Waitikubuli National Trail, the Emerald Pool, Spanny’s Twin waterfalls, and the Sulton Waterfalls.

Black sand beaches, refreshing waterfall hikes, and the famous trek to the Boiling Lake are all doable during a week long visit. Extreme adventures, romantic hideaways, family friendly nature walks, educational indigenous culture tours and bird and whale watching can all be arranged for you.

Explore the cultural and natural treasures of Dominica with David. David is one of the country’s first Discover Dominica certified tour guides and brings a lifetime of Nature Island exploration experience. For fifteen years he has been the primary tour and taxi operator for Crescent Moon Cabins and has enjoyed connecting with people of all ages and cultures.

Most full day tours are US $130 per couple. Discounts apply for groups of four or more. Reservations with plenty of advanced notice are appreciated and payments are only accepted in cash.

Botanical Gardens, Middleham Falls (3-4 hours) OR Trafalgar Falls (1/2 hour), Hot Springs
The Boiling Lake and Titou Gorge (6 hours)
Coastal experience from Champagne Reef, Soufriere salt water hot springs, and Scott’s Head (snorkel masks provided).
Emerald Pool and Kalinago Cultural Experience
Permaculture garden tour and essential oil distillation workshop followed by Spanny’s Waterfalls (1/2 hour). Harvest, distill, and take home a sample of Dominca’s botanical essence.

Custom tours are available for all abilities and interests. Groups of up to 6 can be accommodated. Guests are responsible for site passes and attraction entrance fees.
