All of the drinking water at Crescent Moon Cabins comes directly from a mountainside source of fresh and great tasting spring water.
All the cabins as well as the dining room are poised to take advantage of the Caribbean Sea view from 1800 feet. The valley has long rainforest and volcanic rock ridges that frame the meandering river through the grassy savannah below. Moonsets and sunsets plunge into the sea while parrots and hawks play chase between the mountain ridgelines.
Our property is located only thirty minutes from the capital yet we are considered one of the most peaceful and remote hotels on island. The few residents of River La Croix are mostly farmers and are very welcoming. The trails within the valley are perfect for reflection, site seeing, and fitness. The area has an impressive bird inventory as we are located in the foothills of the rainforest yet offer many attractive flowers. We are very animal friendly and besides the farm friends we also have dogs, cats, turtles, and a fish pond.
